The Christian Women Outreach Ministries (CWOM) was founded in October 1983 by L. Patrice Brown with the goal of helping women reach their maximum potential in Christ, with a special emphasis on the underprivileged woman. We offer workshops and seminars that address the needs and concerns of women's spiritual needs, health issues, financial status, relationships and so much more. With the support of our volunteers (The V-Team), CWOM has extended its vision from Illinois to its neighboring states.

Love In Action:
The LOVE IN ACTION initiative is an outreach of the Christian Women Outreach Ministries, and is designed to service seniors who are frail, people with disabilities and caregivers. LOVE IN ACTION focuses on people and where they live, whether it be a private home or apartment, hospice home, nursing home, or a group home - at any rate, the care must be HOME BASED.

Project Excel:
Project Excel's purpose is to support community and economic development in depressed areas in the Chicagoland and nearby suburban areas by producing businesses that generate jobs, re-circulate dollars and contribute to the economic vitality, resulting in an improved quality of life for community residents.
